The Petite High Waist Mom Jean
- High-rise waist sits firmly above the hip, giving a defined silhouette before the leg relaxes into a roomy, tapered barrel shape
- Denim that starts out sturdy and structured, then softens and moulds to your shape the more you wear it
- Petite-specific cut proportioned to work with a shorter frame - the leg length and rise are balanced so nothing overwhelms
- Contrast stitching runs along the seams and across the front pockets, adding visible detail without any extra hardware
- Classic five-pocket construction with a button fastening at the waist - built for everyday wear and easy dressing
The barrel leg is the detail that sets this apart from a straight-leg or a wide-leg - it curves out through the thigh then draws back in towards the ankle, sitting just above the shoe rather than pooling on the floor. That shape is what makes it work so well on a petite frame; there's volume, but it's controlled. Tuck in a cropped vest or a fitted scoop-neck top the way the model wears it here and the high waist does the rest. Kitten-heel mules or strappy sandals keep the ankle visible and the overall look long. Come the weekend, swap to a chunky knit and trainers for a more relaxed take. This is a jean that handles a Saturday market run, a casual lunch, or a low-key family gathering with the same ease - no overthinking required.
